No subs for airfit but there is a sub for Comssa. It is called Giotto Turbo something marker. I'm not sure of the name.

But I'll answer your question. It's alright to practice using pencils or light weighted mods especially when learning fundamental tricks and combos. But eventually as you improve, you'll need to use heavier mods for advance tricks. Though, some advance spinners tend to stick with light weighted mods such as rushon, F-3000, and comssa. To name a few, here is a list:

nekura
Ognek
s777
ponkotu

For old schoolers:
David Weis (uses pencil)
and
nhk_9 (uses 3000*F)
