Sharp ST Tutorial

Sharp ST by Chiben
Weight: The V1 is somewhere between a bare comssa and a tipped comssa.
Length: 21.5-ish (Depends how well you cut the parts.)
Spin area: Entire length of the SuperTip/Li'l Hands body
This mod was built with these goals in mind:
-A lightweight mod that features a thick body, and a finished look. Trust me. It is SOOOO HARD to find/make a mod that has those qualities. Often times, if you want a light mod, you're going to have to settle to a Bictory (thin barrel not fitting well with my hands) or some mod with the tips removed which will end up being too short (*ehem* comssa. Sure it has that magic wand appeal to it, but still it looks too damn bare).
-Basic modding skills required. Nothing too fancy.
-Something durable. I avoid parts that show wear in time. Especially tips. When overused, tips get deformed.
-Wide customization. I rate mods by how far you can customize it, to make it your own. (which is why I don't like busters/ivans. Sorry.)
-Common Parts. Sharpie Markers are everywhere. LITERALLY. You don't even have to go to a bookstore to find one. ST's are getting pretty common here too. If you can't find ST's, go for Li'l Hands Coloring Pens. They are more common and will work just fine with this mod.
Question and Answers:
Q: Why name it Sharp ST?
A: SHARP-ie Marker + SuperTips = Sharp ST. Pretty ironic seeing that this mod has nothing sharp in it. Lol.
Q: Why are there no info about the V2-V4?
A: The V2 is a special version. I made it for my best friend. I have only created 2 of those. Both will go to him. I will no longer make more of that version for me, or for anybody else. I will keep that mod a secret in order to make it special.
As for the V3 and V4, As I stated above, I want to encourage you guys to think for your self. Don't be satisfied with what people think is a GOOD MOD. Make your own definition of "Good" by modding it on your own. The videos for V3 and V4 were just to give you a head start on the possibilities ahead.
Q: How did you make the all black version?
A: Buy a bigger pack of SuperTips. The bigger packs have black SuperTip bodies in them.
Q: Why aren't you giving us exact measurements on length/weight?
A: SCREW MEASUREMENTS. WE MODDERS GO HAM ON EVERY MOD WE MAKE. (Plus I don't have any measuring devices aside from a ruler. Lol.)
Q: Why not use the grip part of the Bic Rstic Grip to hold the back cap in place?
A: As stated above, one of the goals of this mod is to make a mod that is durable. I have lots of experience with the Bic Rstic Grip. In fact, all my previous tutorials use that exact same grip. The only problem with that specific part is that it softens as you use it. Time will come, your back cap will just fall off due to the grip not holding it in place anymore. I don't want that. I want mods that you make once, spin forever.
Q: Why no tips?
A: Same reason as previous answer. External tips show wear rather quickly than most parts. They are also the first ones to hit the surface once you drop your pen. This will lead to extreme stress being applied to the part connecting the tip to the cap/body of the mod. Extended use will cause cracks, and eventually the breaking of the mod. Yikes.
Q: What color combinations can I make with these parts?
A: The ST comes in white/black bodies. As for the Sharpie Caps, they come in 25 different colors. Medyo rare lang yung ibang colors pero around half of them are easy enough to find. Here's a link for previews of the colors.

Modding Advice:
erik123098: "I put my tips reversed. Like the bigger part of the tip facing outward so that it doesn't eat that much space inside the cap and to make the spinning momentum laterally oriented. Try it! I think it's better."
MOD TEST:
Special Mentions:
Credits to Mod Erik for the V4 idea.
sg9 has a different version. Might wanna check that out.
Got more questions? Feel free to ask.
Also, questions concerning the specifics of the V2-V4 might no be entertained. Sorry.

So proud to have a sharp ST before the official release.

Nice tip pre! Tried it just now. Better nga momentum since napush further yung weight ng tip. Will add to the tutorial above.
