Sonic/Reverse Tutorial

This is a thread dedicated to the fundamental trick "Sonic" and it's counter part, the "Sonic Reverse".

I need help doing a sonic without the thumbflap pressure, I've seen Ktrinh93 do and teach it in his sonic rise tutorial but it was rather short and uninformative. I'm not really sure what I'm suppose to look for to do the no pressure sonic. I end up doing a charge instead.>.>

sonic is like passing the pen from 23(between middle and ring) to 12(between index and middle) but doing a charge motion between the index and ring finger. I suggest practicing charge between the index and ring finger so that you will be familiar with the motion of the pen :)

any tips for palm down sonic? di ko kasi magawa yung palm down e, kapag ginagawa ko ung sonic palm down hindi ko magawa para bang na didis oriented ung kamay ko kapag any palm down tricks.

When doing the palm down version of this trick try "jerking" your hand towards the direction of the sonic. Kadalasang problem kasi with palm down tricks is hindi sapat yung momentum na naaapply kaya parang nasisira yung trick. Try to add more momentum with your entire hand. Hope this helps.
